Compact Quality
I bought it from australia – so need to cut the wires and put Australian Plug on end. Annoying that USA and Australia have different colors to show Active and negitive. Transformer works with 240 volts as well as us 110. Its so quiet (i bought 500GB solid state drive which i recommend for low power use), and so powerfull yet uses so little power. Setting it up with windows was strange as only one USB works out of the box so needed to swap mouse and keyboard to get it to work. After instillation then load the drivers off the disk provided and all three USBs work (the 2 USB3 ports do not work until their drivers are installed. I love the TV interface. The photo above is INCOMPLETE as it has a very small stand that the instructions state should ALWAYS be attached to lift it off the desk to assist air cooling but even with stand it is very very compact!
I just completed 100Gig copy in 13 min about 10 High res movies note if using VLC you should Enable GPU excelerated coding inder prefrences. Box desplayed 1020 res movie with ease.
Great Media PC
Purchased this one from SabrePC. Was marked as Used-Like new. And it was realy new – all componenets on there places, no signs of use at all. SabrePC is highly recommended!
Machine is great and rather quick if you use up to 8Gb of memory plus SSD. I took Crucial m4 256gb. Good choice I suppose.
Some things should be taken in mind before OS installation. If you’ve got ssd go to BIOS setup at first and choose AHCI (never IDE) at first. And never try to install pirate windows OS. There are some settings in BIOS (don’t want to explore and find tham) that will show you BSOD again and again while you try to install such a thing.
